Doris Archer Motorsport was founded by 2 passionate racing drivers and motorsport fans, who make up our core driver team. The concept for the team came about when the founders, breaking their own way into motorsport, quickly realised that the sport comes with massive financial barriers. With the belief that money shouldn’t stop those with passion and skill, the concept of Doris Archer Motorsport – a team that makes racing as affordable as possible – came to fruition in 2024.
The name? A simple story!
Both of our founders complete regular track days in their own vehicles. Lee’s car, Doris (back); and Mel’s car, Archer (front), are the basis of the name.
The team consists of highly motivated individuals, each with their own strengths, but one common passion – motorsport. It’s the love of all things automotive and motorsport that brought us together, and keeps us working towards the same goals.

To break down barriers of entry to motorsport and make it accessible on a lower than normal budget, providing a kick-start for those looking to enter the sport, either in a driver role or support role for a team.
